I have been creating software for a while now, I enjoy the challenge of learning something new. My goal is to make things as simple as possible. I like to approach things - not to build a better mousetrap - but to figure out if we can remove the need for a mousetrap in the first place.
Personal
I live in the Portland, Oregon area. I have a wonderful wife and three kids. We love to travel as a family anywhere, be it down the street or half way around the world – to paraphrase a quote by Robert Louis Stevenson:
…we travel not to go anywhere, but to go. We travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move.
